Did you know that Edmond Family Counseling provides prevention services in Edmond Public Schools? If your child is in 3rd or 5th grade, then they have likely benefitted from our Calm Academy or LifeSkills Boot Camp. Our team goes directly into the classroom and provides these services free of charge!
Calm Academy
Designed for 3rd/4th grade students, this research-based program provides emotional management and stress reduction strategies. These strategies help students decrease anxiety and improve individual performance in stressful situations and environments.

LifeSkills Boot Camp
Designed for 5th grade students, this program focuses on assisting students with personal development and getting ready to enter a middle school environment. Activities such as experiential activities, group discussions, peer interactions in the areas of self-image, personal responsibility, goal setting, decision making, anxiety, assertiveness, anger, and conflict resolution.
Elementary Testing Prep Workshops
Many students taking academic achievement or state standardized mandated testing experience high levels or anxiety stress. This one-session course is for 3-5th grade students and teaches effective test-taking strategies to support student learning and stress reduction skills.
Special Programs
GirlStrong Day Camp
GirlStrong is our week-long, FREE, day camp program for 3-6th grade girls that focuses on ways girls can manage their self-esteem, build resilience, maintain healthy friendships, and make good decisions.
Juvenile Court Process
Sometimes, our children make unfavorable decisions and as parents, we need the upmost support to navigate how to help our children do better. We provide juveniles and their families assistance during their Edmond Juvenile Municipal Court process.
