  • Is Edmond Family Counseling a for profit counseling center?

    No – Edmond Family Counseling is a non-profit, community-based counseling agency with a staff of master’s level therapists providing counseling and prevention services.  

  • How much is a counseling session?

    Fees are based on a sliding scale for children ages 7 and up.  Fees are determined based on annual income and number of individuals in the family system.  Services for children (7-18) will not be denied due to inability to pay.

  • How can counseling help me?

    Counseling can help you gain insight into your problems, develop coping skills, improve relationships, and promote personal growth and emotional well-being.

  • What can I expect in a counseling session?

    Sessions typically involve discussing your concerns, feelings, and experiences in a safe, confidential environment. The counselor may ask questions to help you explore your thoughts and feelings.

  • What types of kids and families do you see?

    Our therapists work with children and youth, ages 7-18, (examples and not limited to) parent/child conflicts, adjustments issues, academic/behavioral problems, depression, ADD, and many other issues.  We work with a variety of behavioral health issues with adults as well

  • How does Edmond Family Counseling receive funding to provide services?

    We are funded by state and local community contracts, as well as grants, donations, client fees, and community fundraisers.
